HOWL Begins Recording New Album

March 20, 2012

Providence, Rhode Island's metallic beasts HOWL have entered Planet Z studio in Hadley, Massachusetts with producer Chris "Zeuss" Harris (SOULFLY, CROWBAR, MUNICIPAL WASTE, 3 INCHES OF BLOOD) to record their sophomore album. A fall release via Relapse Records is expected.

HOWL, who built a reputation for its unforgiving MASTODON-meets-LAMB OF GOD pummeling attack, previously released a full-length and EP via Relapse.

Commented HOWL guitarist/vocalist Vincent Hausman: "This is the meanest and heaviest thing we've ever done, and we feel like the songwriting is a big step forward since 'Full Of Hell'.

"We're super-psyched to team up with Zeuss, because we feel like he'll properly capture this monster of a record."
